今回は更にその後に続くフレーズです。

そうです。
※もし、兄(姉)がいるのなら、
No, she has a big brother(sister).
いいえ、１人お兄ちゃん(お姉ちゃん)がいるよ。
という感じです。ちなみにbig (little) brotherのbigやlittleは小さな子に対してしか使わないので注意してくださいね。大人に対して使う場合はolderとyoungerを使います。
また、アメリカではベビーシッター(baby sitter)を利用している方も多いので、このフレーズを使ったらI’m just watching him.(ただ彼をお世話しているだけなの。)と言われた事があります。

という感じです。
このフレーズも必ず使います。子供の名前をきちんと覚えて、次回会う機会があれば名前で話しかけてみましょう。もちろん、I'm 〇〇. What's your name?：私の名前は〇〇です。あなたの名前は何ですか？と聞いてママ同士で名前を呼び合えるようになれば、より距離が縮まるはずです。
相手の名前を聞く場合は、先に自分の名前を名乗ったほうが良いでしょう。

15か月です。
という感じです。
ちなみに、こちらでは小さいうちは月齢で答える事が多いと思います。(one and three monthsとは聞いたことがありません。）
切りの良い年齢の場合はone and halfとも言います。
今日のフレーズはとっても簡単ですが、現地のママたちと話す時は必ず子供の年齢を聞かれるし、私も良く聞くフレーズです。日本でも同じではないでしょうか?

子育てにもだいぶ慣れ、ようやくblogを始めることが出来ました。
本題に入るまでに、まずは少し自己紹介をしておきますね。

主人の転勤に伴い2015年に渡米。渡米後すぐに第一子を授かり、アメリカで出産。
現在、専業主婦として15か月の子供を育てています。
日々の子育ての中で、一番しんどいのはやっぱり言葉の壁。‟こんな時なんて言えば良いの!?”と思う毎日です。私と同じ様な境遇の方、日本で英語で子育てをされている方、あるいは日本で子育てをされている外国の方の助けに少しでもなれればと思い、このblogを始めました。私が現地で実際に学んだ使えるフレーズを毎日1フレーズずつ更新していきたいと思います。

Before taking up the main subject, I will introduce myself first.
Self-introduction
We moved to the United States in 2015 for the transfer of my husband.
After coming to the US, I got my first child soon and I gave birth in the US.
I am raising my 15 months daughter as a housewife now.
In the day-to-day child rearing, the most difficult thing is the language barrier. Every day I think that "How can I say it".I started this blog because I thought that I would be able to help the people who is in a similar situation, the people who teach English to children in Japan, or the foreigners who raise their children in Japan.
Every day I will update one useful phrase that I actually learned in the US.
